Privacy policy
Arcovelle supports guest editing and optional cloud accounts. Saving a cloud project enables automatic saving of later edits until paused; guest drafts are not automatically uploaded.
Information Arcovelle processes
Your project name, location text, ZIP code, room layout, material choices, feasibility assumptions, estimates, project briefs, budgets, entered bids, supplier specifications, change records, owner labels, tasks, questions, reference links, compressed tracing images, furniture dimensions, and project progress are saved on your iPhone using Apple platform storage. If you choose to save a cloud revision, that project document is also stored in the Arcovelle database hosted by Supabase in the United States.
Browser workspace
The current browser editor holds your draft in memory while the page is open. Imported project files are processed in your browser, and exports are downloaded to your chosen location. Cloud revisions are uploaded when you first choose Save, then automatically while enabled for that open cloud project. Conflicts pause saving. Your browser stores an account session to keep you signed in. Browser recovery is enabled by default and can be turned off; a temporary current and previous project copy is stored on that browser until replaced or cleared through your browser settings. Pausing recovery retains existing copies. Recovery is device-local, not cloud synchronization; avoid enabling it on shared devices. Export or save a cloud revision for retained project records. The website host and Supabase process network requests and operational logs needed to deliver and secure these services.
Project files and review comments
Files are uploaded only when you select Upload. JPEG, PNG and PDF uploads, filenames, categories and location labels are stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage, associated with your account and project. Review snapshots and comments are also stored there. Uploaded documents are not included in editable JSON backups; download originals separately. Review links expire after 30 days, ending visitor access; retained snapshots can be removed by revoking the link. Comment names are self-entered and comments are not verified signatures.
Optional accounts
Email account creation sends your email address and password securely to Supabase Authentication for account management. Passwords are not stored in project files. Resend delivers account confirmation and recovery messages and processes the recipient address and delivery information. Project documents are not sent through these emails. Native Apple sign-in sends an Apple identity token and one-time authorization code to the Arcovelle account service for verification with Apple and Supabase. It may provide your name and email, including an Apple relay address. The server stores an encrypted Apple refresh token so access can be revoked when you delete your account; this credential is not stored in project files or exposed to the browser. Native account sessions use the iPhone Keychain. Native Apple sign-in is undergoing device verification; Apple, Supabase, and Resend also process information under their own privacy policies.
Data collection and tracking
Arcovelle does not operate advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs in this release. Arcovelle does not sell personal information and does not track you across apps or websites.
Sharing
Editable cloud projects and uploaded files are restricted to the owning account. You can explicitly create a 30-day review snapshot. Anyone with its link can view the shared design, and signed-in visitors can add comments using a self-entered display name. Address, private reference links, tracing images and private file uploads are excluded from the snapshot. Including bids, suppliers, selection costs and change records requires a separate choice. Links can be revoked from Project. Exported files can contain your project name, location, layout, and budget; share them only with intended recipients. The system share sheet sends files to the destination you choose.
Retention and deletion
Signing out ends your account session but keeps the open local draft. Delete individual cloud projects in the account library, or use Delete account in the current app or website to remove uploaded files, authored review comments and owned review links first, then the account and cloud projects from the active database. Download needed files first: if account deletion fails, file removal cannot be undone. Deleting a cloud project alone does not delete its separate uploads or review links; remove those in Project first. Account deletion requires a recent sign-in. Use the current website for deletion if you have an older app version; older versions cannot remove the separate file library. Apple-linked accounts also revoke Apple access through the account service. If an older account has no stored Apple authorization, deletion provides instructions to remove Arcovelle in Apple settings. Local files, exports, and copies held by others are not removed. Service backups and security logs may persist under provider retention policies. Deleting the iPhone app does not delete your cloud account. Children
Arcovelle is a residential planning tool for homeowners and building professionals and is not directed to children.
Changes
This policy describes the current web workspace and native account service. Updates will be published here with a revised effective date.
Device backups and room capture
Project checkpoints remain in this browser or device until you delete them or clear application data. They may include project details, quotes and notes. Camera images from native room scanning are not stored in the editable project; reviewed floor outlines become project data and follow your normal saving and sharing choices.
